Investors in People is an employer led standard and this is key to our success. We need to increase the current team of independent Employer Representatives. Their role is vital to us as they verify that the requirements of our framework are being met in our day to day business.
By joining our group of Employer Representatives, you will benefit by:
• raising your profile in the local business community and activities to add to your own continuous professional development
• attendance at specialist development events and learning sets
• attendance at our yearly IIP conference
• insight into the best practice of a wide range of organisations in Scotland
• promotion of yourselves and your companies through our web site, case studies and events;
• attending meetings to network and share practice;
Our Employer Representatives undertake a range of roles including:
adding value to the service through offering recommendations and suggestions of improvement formed from experience, knowledge and business acumen
complementing the strategic development of Investors in People in Scotland through reviewing performance and being involved in developing future plans
helping to increase the level of customer satisfaction through understanding and linking opportunities to key priority areas
providing peer recognition to Investors in People organisations
actively supporting the longevity and positive image of Investors in People in Scotland
Our Employer Representatives are based in different IIP recognised organisations throughout Scotland, from small to medium sized enterprises to multi national companies in both the private and public sector. No other quality standard has this level of scrutiny and ensures that our framework remains relevant for the needs of your business both now and in the future.
